Photography is a craft I fell into out of necessity. I love good photography, but never had the patience to learn it properly during the days of film. Back in the 90's while working as a graphic designer for a tour company, I was thrust into the world of photography to gather image assets for catalogs and brochures. Shooting initially with an old Minolta Freedom Dual, I came to realize that I had a knack for framing up nice dramatic shots. Much of my work was featured in the Christian Tours travel catalog, and other travel industry publications.

For the last 10 years I've worked both professionally in the healthcare industry, and as a free-lancer using progressively nicer digital cameras. I've used Adobe Photoshop since 1994, and have been able to compensate for some understanding of the science of photography through my pro-level skills with software.
